I am offering a new service with ILM & Psychotherapy. Email me to book your ILM & Psychotherapy session.

A 1 hour 15 minute session, combining somatic bodywork and psychotherapy.

Currently I am a apprenticed practitioner with the Ilan Lev Method (ILM), www.ilanlev.org. ILM is a body-mind method of movement and energy, to support and help with the release of held, unwanted physical tension, pain and emotional stuckness and overwhelm. The body has its own natural wisdom to reorganise and repattern to a state of overall body, mind and emotional joy, playfulness, balance, mobility, flow and vitality. ILM is for all ages. It is a process-oriented practice that tends to the entire body, not pathologize or treat specific symptoms. Not only is the client treated but so is the practitioner, as everything happens with ease, care and play. www.ilanlev.org Many people describe feeling lighter, more spacious, and more connected to themselves after a session.

Combining bodywork and talk from an embodied approach provides space to reconnect with yourself in a fuller way, through movement, awareness, and words.

“The therapist must strive to create a new therapy for each patient.” Irvin Yalom

Whether you are facing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, loss, eating disorder, or trauma, know that you’re not alone, these are all deeply human experiences. I offer a warm, genuine, and non-judgmental space where you can overtime, express yourself freely, develop insight, and build a sense of continuous embodiment and self-trust needed for healing, growth, awareness and acceptance.

As a psychodynamic, social work psychotherapist with a rich background in the arts, I bring a whole-person approach to therapy, attending to the emotional, physical, mental, and existential aspects of your experience. My journey in understanding the human condition began in the world of contemporary dance, where I danced professionally for over 15 years. That embodied, expressive path led me to study relational psychoanalysis and depth psychology, completing a Master’s in Theory and Criticism, followed by a Master’s in Social Work. I am a life long learner and have completed training/certifications in Body-Mind Psychotherapy, Movement/Creative Arts Therapy, Depth Psychology, Supervision training, and Object Relations Couple Therapy. Currently, I am an apprenticed practitioner in the Ilan Lev Method (www.ilanlev.org). This a movement bodywork practice that invites release and an arrival to a place of embodied awareness, free of the contents of past and everyday experiences.

I’ve been privileged to support many individuals and couples with extensive experience as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. My therapeutic style is person-centered, somatic, thoughtful, and creative. Together, we reflect on your life story, bringing gentle attention to the deeper layers of the self that often hold the roots of our suffering. In uncovering these layers, new awarenesses and pathways begin to emerge, leading to more clarity, choice, and alignment with the essence of self.

In addition to everyday concerns, I also welcome dreams, and creative expressions through movement, image making and writing as part of therapy process, as meaningful sources of insight and transformation.
