I am a depth oriented psychotherapist with a strong background in the arts. I first developed a curiosity with the unconscious through contemporary dance, being a professional dancer for 15 years. I am also interested in psychoanalysis, with a Masters in Theory and Criticism (Western University). Followed by my Masters in Social Work (Wilfrid Laurier University). I am a well experienced psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, with post graduate training in mind-body psychotherapy and expressive arts therapy.
As a psychotherapist my orientation is pragmatic and creative, with supporting people in their individuation process through an embodied and lived reality.
I work in a collaborative manner with adults and couples with different life and relationship struggles. I invite you to share, observe and explore your life story. In this process, unconscious material that is the source of suffering in your present reality are made conscious. In so doing, new awarenesses become available that invite a different perspective, better choices and new ways of being in the world which are more in tune with one’s deeper self. I work with dreams, artistic and creative material, along with everyday life situations.
