I am offering a new service with ILM & Psychotherapy

A two-hour session combining somatic bodywork and psychotherapy.

This offering begins with the Ilan Lev Method (ILM), a somatic bodywork practice I am apprenticing in. ILM uses gentle movement and touch to bring awareness to the body. The work helps release tension, ease patterns of holding, and support the body’s natural ability to reorganize itself. Many people describe feeling lighter, more spacious, and more connected to themselves after a session.

After the bodywork, we shift into psychotherapy. The transition is natural: whatever surfaced in the body often finds its way into words. Together, we give attention to what arises—whether emotions, thoughts, sensations, or silence. We explore patterns that may have been inherited, conditioned, or developed out of habit. These patterns often had an important role in the past, but may no longer serve you in the present.

By beginning with the body and then moving into conversation, ILM & Psychotherapy creates a grounded way of working with both physical and emotional experience. The combination allows for: -Release of tension stored in the body -Greater awareness of how patterns live in both body and mind -Insight and clarity about old stories and habits -Compassionate change that feels embodied, not just intellectual

This approach provides space to reconnect with yourself in a fuller way—through movement, awareness, and words.

I’m a depth-oriented psychotherapist with a rich background in the arts. My path into the world of the psyche began through contemporary dance, where I worked as a professional dancer for 15 years. This embodied curiosity led me to study psychoanalysis and complete a Master’s in Theory and Criticism (Western University), followed by a Master’s in Social Work (Wilfrid Laurier University). I’ve since worked for many years as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, with additional post-graduate training in mind-body psychotherapy and expressive arts therapy.

My approach is both creative and grounded, supporting individuals in their unique process of becoming—through deep listening, embodied presence, and the exploration of meaning in everyday life.

I work collaboratively with adults and couples navigating a wide range of life and relationship challenges. I invite you to bring your story, your questions, and your inner world into the space we create together. Through this exploration, unconscious patterns that shape your present reality can begin to surface, allowing for greater awareness, freedom, and more authentic ways of being. I integrate dreamwork, creative expression, and the everyday as sources of insight and transformation.
